Our lodge is family run, our service promise is "To deliver a unique experience of Irish hospitality where the friendship extended, the comforts enjoyed and our attention to detail will make you wish to return as soon as possible" in 2010 we were awarded 4 stars in the new classification scheme for B & B's in ireland. Our lodge combines the comforts of a modern house with the elegance of bygone days. The house is situated on the banks of the Owenriff river in Oughterard, Co. Galway and for guests and anglers alike there is direct access to Lough Corrib by boat from the garden!
Camillaun Lodge is equipped with all the facilities required by the modern outdoor enthusiast, including a large gear / rod room and special drying facilities and even a full size hard tennis court which is floodlit for the really enthusiastic outdoor person.
Later we added a major activities room with full size snooker table, fly tying desk and reading area all for the enjoyment of the guests. Another of our recent additions is a Jacuzzi for your weary muscles and bones after a day of exertion! Never before have so many facilities been available in such a small intimate home!

STOP PRESS FOR 2010 SEASON - SELF CATERING RENTAL AVAILABLE - (The house is currently being assessed for inclusion in the Failte ireland list of approved rental properties.)
Weeks commencing: From the 28th August 2010. WE HAVE AVAILABILITY OF A BEAUTIFUL DORMER HOUSE VIRTUALLY BESIDE OUR HOME FOR RENT ON A SELF CATERING BASIS. SEE THE PHOTOGRAPHS BELOW. ANYONE INTERESTED HAS THE OPTION OF ONE OF OUR BOATS ON THE CORRIB A HUNDRED YARDS WALK FROM THE DOOR. Accommodation comprises four double bedrooms two of which are en-suite. A separate master bathroom with bidet, shower and separate bath. Two sitting rooms one with open fire and the other with a wood burning stove. There is a large kitchen / dining room with a beautiful sun room off it. The rental house is right beside the Owenriff river see the view from the kitchen window!
