December – January was one of the coldest spells in history around here! The river froze – to the extent that we needed a crow bar to break the ice! The lake froze all the way to Rouillaun! We had temperatures of -12 degrees centegrade on Christmas morning – with no water!!
We got over four days with no water and finally the thaw came and the water came back. Thankfully no leaks!
The days are now getting longer but its again starting to get colder.
