Well another season opened on a lovely mild February day. Sure it was great to be on the water along with a good sprinkle of other anglers. In fact fly fishing surpassed the traditional trollers!

The start of the season is not about catching fish rather about re-acquainting oneself with the traditional fishing grounds and old friends!

it nice to meet a well conditioned trout at this time of year all the same – she’s still out there!

The next big push will be St. Patricks day – a long weekend. With the mild weather the Duckfly fishing will surely be good by then – put it in your diary we will have lots of boats ready by then – just give us a call.
