I am happy to report that with the milder weather of the past week, fishing on Lough Corrib has picked up. In particular dapping Mayflies has proven very successful in a recent local competition with some excellent fish being caught on the Dap.
There is a lovely southerly breeze blowing which should make for some good fishing. So if you are interested in returning for some Mayfly fishing in July give me a call.
Over the May period we had a lovely English Setter staying with us, Meg brought her owner too- Geoff Sissons.
Spud was a bit wary of her, afraid of being usurped!
