Autumn Special-Discover Oughterard, the Gateway to Connemara

Hello friends,

October is always a lovely month in Connemara with plenty of beautiful walks, cycles and golf on offer, the leaves are turning a lovely russet and there are many autumn delights to find.

Gaestrum Triplex                                                Blueberries and blackberries from our garden

Greg has harvested our honey, we now have fifteen pots of liquid goal which will hopefully sustain us over the winter, we have promised some people a jar -they are very special!

It’s hard to believe that we are now into the final month of the fishing season with just one week left, so think about casting a final line before the end of the season. We have boats and accommodation available next week.

Lough Corrib is fishing well, dapping the cricket and grasshopper has resulted in some excellent catches by local anglers with some trout as heavy as 4lb been taken

Give us a call to check availability and fishing conditions
