Mayfly weather?

Tuition on Boat Handling Provided

We had some spectacular weather last May with beautiful bright days and sunny skies. We welcomed Eddie and Imelda to the house who reacquainted themselves with the wonderful Lough Corrib. The bright conditions demanded fine casts and careful presentation. The clarity of the water due to the presence of Zebra mussels means that the fish see you long before you see them!!

This was also a very significant May as it was the last year that our wonderful neighbour Kathleen Walsh worked for us for the last 18 years before moving to Co. Kildare – she will be much missed by us and all our regular customers.

There were also some cracking fish to celebrate and also some people catching their first ‘dapped’ trout.
