Storm Hinders Angling 23rd May 2020

IMG-6574-1

Well for the past two days we have been battered by high South Westerly and Westerly winds. The garden has taken a battering and leaves that are only a few weeks old litter the ground. Christopher’s cat, a new resident, was puzzled to discover a strange ‘animal’ in the garden with hair, feathers and moss and a strange smell. He brought the mouthful to the house, – a used nest blown out of a tree. There has been no chance of visiting the lake for a few casts for a the last few days – hopefully tomorrow – Sunday 24th May we will get to venture out. We have a few boats available for local use – you must be within 5 kms to be able to utilise these and remain in line with Government guidelines.
