Real Snow

It’s not often we get ‘real snow’ – you know snow that ‘sticks’, squeaks under your boots, makes good snow balls and covers the ground. Well, we finally got some on the 11th February. This is rare on the west coast as our weather is influenced by the Atlantic ocean. Whenever this happens you need to make the most of it. At least when you are working from home as in the pandemic you just need to step outside. The wonderland lasted a day but everywhere looked so bright which is rare in the grey winter days. Its a great way of seeing what animals wandered through the garden and we even introduced Christopher’s cat to snow for the first time!
