January Cycle

Its not often you get ‘ideal’ conditions in January but Sunday 16th January 2022 was a glorious day in Connemara. Lucky for those of us who can just head out West and pick a relatively quiet route for a cycle. Plenty of layers were required as the temperature was a mere 5 degrees – it was best to keep moving to stay warm, but we still managed to stop for a few photos.. We started at the iconic Creagha “Our Lady of the Wayside” Church and went clockwise through Kylemore, Tullycross, Lettergesh and back via the Culfin valley. This was an old ‘Forde’ haunt from the 1970’s when we used to holiday at Lough Muck. A lovely start to 2022.
