We stayed in early August and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. As soon as we arrived, Deirdre told us how to get into town by walking down a lovely footpath which is next to the lodge. We strolled over the bridge , along the waterfront and before we knew it, we were coming out on a little side street right in town. We went for a few pints,a lovely dinner and strolled back with our wine. We settled in our room with the amazing wooded and flowered view and enjoyed a glass or two of fine red wine. In the morning, we enjoyed a lovely breakfast and Deirdre’s hospitality. The proprietors are friendly and accommodating but not intrusive and provide the direction you may need without being invasive. They were lovely. The Camillaun Lodge would definitely be at the top of our list of B&Bs to return to! Enjoy!
When we first visited Camillaun Lodge, we were immediately struck by the welcoming atmosphere that our walkers would inevitably feel after a day of tough hiking. With Deirdre’s kind nature, and the high standard of rooms in this hotel, we’re happy to recommend Camillaun Lodge.
